Exporting contacts from other mail providers

You can import contacts from other email services into your Proton Mail account using Easy Switch. To do this, you need to export your contacts as either a CSV or a VCF (vCard) file. Below, you can find instructions for exporting some popular email services.
Yahoo Mail
- Sign in to Yahoo Mail(nova janela). Under Contacts, select the three dot ⋯ icon.
2. Select Export to CSV file and your download will begin.
Gmail
- Go to Google Contacts(nova janela). Select the Export icon from the top navigation.
2. Select Google CSV and then click Export.
Microsoft Outlook / Hotmail
1. Sign in to outlook.com(nova janela). Select the people (👥) icon from the left toolbar.
2. Select Manage contacts → Export contacts.
3. Select which contacts you want to export (for example, All contacts). Click Export to download them as a CSV file.
AOL Mail
1. Sign in to AOL Mail(nova janela) and select Contacts.
2. Click the three dot (⋯) icon. Select Export to CSV file.
Zoho Mail
1. Log in to your Zoho Mail(nova janela) account and go to Contacts. Select Contacts → The three dot ⋮ icon → Export.
2. Select the group of contacts you want to export, then click Export Contacts.
Apple Mail / iCloud
The Apple Mail app exports contacts in a proprietary file format (.abbu). It’s easier to export contacts using the iCloud web app.
1. Log in to icloud.com/contacts(nova janela) using your Apple ID. Click the three dot ⋯ icon, then select Select All Contacts from the menu.
2. Select the Export icon→ Export vCard. Your download will begin.

If you encounter any problems importing your CSV or VCF file into Proton Mail, you may need to edit it in a spreadsheet program.
